HiBye Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to HiBye, operated by Adbrovz Private Limited ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account, using the app, using the website, or accessing related services, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

HiBye is for adults 18+ only. You must not use HiBye if you are under 18, if you are legally restricted from using this type of service, or if we previously banned or restricted you from using HiBye.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your device, email, phone, PIN, and account access secure. When using a phone number for account access or recovery, provide a reachable number with the correct country code. You must not create fake, misleading, automated, abusive, duplicate, or unauthorized accounts.

3. Nearby Discovery

HiBye uses device location to help identify people you may have crossed paths with nearby. Discovery results may be delayed, approximate, incomplete, unavailable, or affected by GPS accuracy, device settings, battery restrictions, operating system limits, network conditions, backend processing, and user privacy settings.

HiBye does not guarantee that every nearby person will be detected or shown. HiBye does not show exact live location to other users.

4. People, Hi Requests, Matches, And Chat

The People tab may show registered HiBye users where allowed by privacy and safety rules. Users can send Hi requests directly or from discovery/history flows. Chat becomes available only after both users choose to connect or a match exists. Either user may decline, unmatch, block, report, or stop responding.

5. User Content

You are responsible for profile photos, display name, bio, interests, Hi requests, chat messages, view-once media, support messages, reports, evidence, and other content you submit. You must not upload, send, request, or promote content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, involving minors, impersonating, deceptive, spam, scam, malware, privacy-violating, or infringing another person's rights.

6. Community Rules And Safety

You must follow the Community Guidelines and Safety guidance. You must not harass, stalk, threaten, pressure, exploit, track, shame, impersonate, scam, spam, scrape, automate, reverse engineer, use fake GPS, or try to reveal another person's exact location.

7. Blocking, Reporting, And Moderation

HiBye provides block, report, support, and safety controls. We may review reports, support requests, account activity, profile content, chat evidence, device/session data, and related records when needed for safety, abuse prevention, platform compliance, or legal reasons.

We may remove content, limit features, pause discovery, restrict accounts, revoke sessions, suspend accounts, ban accounts, block devices, or take other action when rules are violated or when safety, security, legal, or platform compliance requires it.

8. Ads

HiBye may show ads, including an interstitial ad before opening a first chat with a matched user. Ad availability and behavior may vary by platform, region, app version, and ad provider. Ads should not block safety, support, report, block, legal, logout, or account deletion actions.

9. Privacy And Location Controls

Use of HiBye is also governed by the Privacy Policy. You can manage discovery, invisible mode, profile photo visibility, profile area/city visibility, blocked users, sessions, and account deletion where app controls are available. Turning off a setting may not immediately remove data already retained for safety, legal, service integrity, or abuse-prevention reasons.

10. Account Restriction And Deletion

Users can request account deletion through the app where available. We may retain certain records for limited periods when needed for safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, audit requirements, abuse prevention, or platform compliance.

We may restrict, suspend, ban, or delete accounts when needed for safety, security, legal compliance, platform compliance, or misuse prevention.

11. Third-Party Services

HiBye may use third-party services for hosting, email/OTP, app stores, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, ads, storage, security, and support. Third-party services may have their own terms, policies, and data practices.

12. Service Availability

HiBye is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect location accuracy, perfect discovery results, perfect match detection, permanent storage, error-free operation, ad availability, notification delivery, or compatibility with every device or operating system.

13. Off-App Interactions

HiBye does not control what users do outside the app. Use caution when communicating, sharing information, or meeting anyone. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety in off-app interactions.

14. Intellectual Property

HiBye, Adbrovz branding, app designs, website content, text, images, logos, and related materials belong to Adbrovz Private Limited or its licensors unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or misuse HiBye content or systems without permission.

15. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adbrovz Private Limited is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, loss-of-data, loss-of-profit, personal interaction, location inaccuracy, service interruption, third-party, or similar damages arising from use of HiBye.

16. Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms. Important changes may be posted on the website, shown in the app, or require acceptance before continued use.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
